OFF TO COLLEGE            

Ten of our young people will be off to college for the first time or returning to college this month.  They are:  Shane' Howard, Tarrant County College, South Campus; Kierston Johnson, Weatherford College Weatherford, TX; Eric Lockett, Tarrant County College, Northeast Campus; Jessica Lusk, Tarrant County College, South Campus; Darius Moore, Stephen F. Austin University; Jeanetta Norris, Abilene Christian University; Kendrick Smith, Prairie View A & M; Andre' Thomas, Tarrant County College Southeast Campus; Brittany Walker, University of North Texas; and Marcus William, University of Texas at Arlington.  Our prayers are with these young people as they chart a new life for themselves and we encourage them to keep the Lord prominent in all of their plans.

NATIONAL ACADEMY OF CHRISTIAN STUDIES

The National Academy of Christian Studies, founded by our minister, Dr. D. Gibbs, in 1997 has been reactivated.  The Gideonites andDeborites will be students of the Academy and anyone else who would like to sign up is welcome to do so.  There will NOT be a fee and Certificates of Completion will be awarded for those enrolled and completes a prescribed program of study.  More information will be furnished at a later date.
