Our Bible Classes will be canceled this week, July 21st so that we may support the City-Wide Gospel Campaign.We encourage everyone to attend as many nights as possible.
HOMECOMING IN MEXIA, TX
Our minister, Dr. Joe D. Gibbs, Sr. will be the homecoming speaker again this year in Mexia, TX on August 15, 2010.The service will begin at 2:30 p.m. and Dinner will be served BEFORE and AFTER the afternoon service.Thomas C. Gilmore, Jr. is the host minister and the father of our own, Phillip Gilmore.
CITYWIDE GOSPEL MEETING
"Is Your Lamp Still Burning" is the theme for the citywide meeting featuring Jack Evans, Jr. of Terrell, TX and Brant Stubblefield from Lindsay, OK will also be a guest speaker. The West Vickery Congregation will host the meeting on Sunday & Monday, July 18th & 19th, Everman Church of Christ will host on Tuesday & Wednesday, July 20th and 21st and the meeting will end at the Richmond Avenue Congregation on Thursday, July 22nd.The meeting will begin each night at 7:00 p.m.
